At Sunshine Farms, Inc., we will train horses for any discipline, though we specialize in training for driving. Our driving program is ideally an extensive 6 month session for untrained horses, encompassing 4-5 days per week depending on the personality of the horse, but the program can be tailored to the owner's individual needs. Training a horse to drive can increase performance and attitude under saddle and can be used to start a horse who has had little or no training. 

The discipline of driving horses has decreased significantly over the last century, as it is more effective to travel by automobile.  Currently there are few driving trainers around the country, with the exception of the Amish.  The Amish maintain very nice driving horses and vehicles.
